Riding Lessons at Natural Valley Ranch
Whether you are a beginner or an “old pro” looking for a refresher, come to Natural Valley Ranch. We offer lessons based on your comfort level, and we’ll help you become a better rider.
Lessons are offered for individuals ages 5 – 6 years and up (depending on the maturity level of the child). We also offer riding lessons for adults.
Private lessons are $45 per hour
Prepay lessons (5 lessons) are $200 when you prepay for 5 lessons.
Students learn:
- horse safety
- horse behaviors
- grooming
- saddling
- riding in arena
- trail riding
Our lessons are customized to accommodate the students personal goals etc: being comfortable and confident on trail rides, being able to lease a horse, working toward owning their own horse, learning how to show in western events.
Flexible lesson schedule is designed to fit the individual needs of the student rider.
All new students — whether beginner or experienced — take 10 private lessons. Upon completion of the series of private lessons, the student is paired with a student of comparable ability to continue lessons as a team. The partner approach to lessons allows for more activities and better learning as the two students will encourage one another with the challenges and lessons the coach provides.
